Prospecting for Concrete is a Virtual Reality film that responds to the Art Gallery of Western Australia, drawing on the history and brutalist structure of the building and two works in the historical gallery- Down on His Luck by Frederick McCubbin and Adam by Rodin. The immersive nature of VR encourages the viewer to direct their subjective experience of the awakened historical works colliding with the present moment.
